On September 29th 2025, Rise premiered at the Gothenburg Opera, the second part of ConnectArt’s trilogy about our relationship to thoughts, feelings and body. The film is a collaboration between ConnectArt and the Gothenburg Opera Dance Company and was shown to invited guests from the school world as well as the Gothenburg Opera’s Young Ambassadors, who themselves had participated in a Rise workshop.
After the screening for 70 interested people, an in-depth panel discussion followed with:
- Elin Lutke, ConnectArt’s founder and idea generator of the film
- Fernando Melo, choreographer and director
- Linnéa Pöllänen Hellberg, school counselor
- Henry Ascher, pediatrician and professor of public health
- Malin Aghed, artivist and moderator led the conversation.
Research and practice show that creativity and culture make a difference to the well-being of children and young people. According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, culture is not just an opportunity; it is a right for every child. Therefore, we see it as our duty to fight for more young people to experience the power of culture in school.
👉Now ConnectArt and GöteborgsOperan want to join forces with the school. Our vision is that Rise workshops will reach students all over Gothenburg and the Västra Götaland region.

Can be financed by:
