Documentary film about the project
We offer an innovative project that combines culture, health and education. The documentary shows the background and purpose of the project and presents a bit of the performance that is part of the project. In addition, the school staff and some of the children who participated in the pilot projects speak out.
Show
The show is about a child who feels bad about his self-critical thoughts in his attempts to fit into all the norms. During the performance, he becomes aware and creates his own tools to manage his thoughts.
A theater-circus performance of high artistic and technical level, now shown as a movie to maximum two classes in the school.
The film is produced by Theo Ribeiro, award-winning film producer, Wild River Films Limited, London.
Group discussion
Directly following the performance, ConnectArt leads a discussion with a class to listen to their reflections on the show. Topics such as performance anxiety, stress, norms and values are covered. Here you will find a guide for these occasions that school staff can also use in other contexts in connection with the performance.
Creative Workshop
After the group discussion, we enter a creative process where the students will explore their inner voices, we show that our critical thoughts are not dangerous but an evolutionary survival mechanism that reminds us of our basic needs. Always better to try to explore the inner voices with self-compassion. Below you will find relaxation exercise.
Teacher's guide
Now you as a teacher will have the opportunity to give continuity to the work and water the seeds we have left in the school, a seed of curiosity to study Mental Health from a new perspective. In this material you will find:
1. Follow-up material, two lessons that you will lead;
a). Mental health and social media, based on the health wheel in the students' folder.
b). Mental health and treatment of ourselves and others.
c). Creation in various creative subjects - Suggestions for further work
2. Tools for active listening
3. Scientific background
4. Practical information.

Newsletter to parents
Now is the time to inform the parents with a newsletter. The purpose is partly to inform about Now is the time to inform the parents with a newsletter. The aim is partly to inform about the project's content but also to give the parents an opportunity to participate in the children's reflections on their own thoughts, feelings and monsters. the project's content but also give the parents an opportunity to participate in the children's reflections on their own thoughts, feelings and monsters.
Questionnaire
Good work!
You have now together worked through new thoughts and important concepts for the children and hopefully created insight, self-esteem and new tools that the children can use to manage their everyday life.
It's time to ask students to turn in their surveys.
Evaluation
Hope the project has been rewarding for both students and school!
We look forward to reading the teachers' written feedback! Together with the children's questionnaires, they will form the basis of a valuable evaluation of the project for us.
Finally, a big thank you for your valuable participation and commitment!
